Al Yasmina School. It gives prospective parents an overview of what we have to offer and will keep our parent community in touch with what is happening at the school. To make navigation as easy as possible, we've split this website into primary and secondary areas. This website will continue to evolve. Our next task is to add a virtual learning environment.Al Yasmina has students from more than 60 nationalities, creating a true international community of learners. Our school is a vibrant, happy, challenging environment. Students follow the National Curriculum of England and Wales until Year 9 and then study a suite of British and international qualifications under the Edexcel Examination Board. At Al Yasmina School our focus is on progress. We want your child to progress academically, socially and personally. Our school motto is PART - pride, aspiration, respect and trust - and it underpins every aspect of our school as we strive to achieve our vision of being an outstanding international community school. All our policies, systems and processes support these key principals.Students are all expected to play their PART while they are at Al Yasmina. Those that involve themselves fully in school life by taking part in an exciting range of extracurricular activities and take advantage of the support we offer in all aspects of their learning will no doubt succeed. It is important that students have the opportunity to develop socially as well as academically and we encourage them to get involved in the many opportunities available to them at Al Yasmina. Whether it is visiting Germany as part of a history trip, raising money for earthquake victims, volunteering with some of the primary school students, taking part in drama productions or embarking on work experience, Al Yasmina students are positively engaged in all aspects of school life.As a school we are building an enviable reputation for academic excellence and strong, meaningful relationships between staff and students. We expect our students to work on becoming outstanding citizens of the world and to reach their full potential. The 2012/13 academic year is an exciting one for us, as for the first time in September the school will have full cohort of students, from FS1 up to Year 13, bringing the school roll to 1550 students.
