Balloon RidesHot air ballooning is the oldest and most romantic way to fly and a balloon ride over the Dubai sand Dunes is a magical experience you will never forget. Rising with the sun above the desert, and drifting silently on the wind will make you feel like time is standing still, before the exhilrating blast of the burners gets the pulse racing once more. We have several balloons of various colours and sizes which fly early mornings (see our FAQs for approximate times) between late September and early June from several different locations including Fossil Rock near Al Faya Wadi giving you the chance to drift over golden sands, bedouin villages and vast, rugged mountains. Tariq Al Omari, your pilot and host, moved to Dubai in early 2000 and has 15 years ballooning experience so you're in the safest of hands. His long career in aviation began in 1982 flying planes both as a civilian and in the air force in Jordan. In 1994 he did his first balloon flight at Wadi Rum in Jordan. He then did his basic and advanced training in Spain and now holds commercial pilot's lincenses in USA, Jordan and UAE. He has flown all over the world in Jordan, UAE, North America, Europe and North Africa.
