With its initial focus on the emirate of Sharjah, Arada is a privately held property development firm established in the United Arab Emirates. Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, chairman of the Basma Group, and Prince Khaled bin Alwaleed bin Talal Alsaud, chairman of KBW Investments, created the business in 2017. Arada is Sharjah's largest developer, having introduced three master-planned communities to far, valued at a combined AED 33 billion. The company also started working on its first project in Dubai in 2022, and it plans to start working on its second project there on the Palm Jumeirah islands in 2023.
