This express service has won Barakat Optical the prestigous award of Retail Me in 2008, for best customer service initiative of the year. In 2009, Barakat Optical won the Best Service Performance Outlet award granted by Dubai Economic Department. In 2011, Barakat Optical was appointed as RTA Trusted Agent. The new service allows the motorists of Dubai, to renew their driving licenses at any of Barakat Optical outlets.Currently, Barakat Optical operates 13 outlets and is planning to expand further and operate 20 outlets by the year 2016 in the UAE.
