In 1998 the first outlet of Chopsticks opened in Sin el Fil. This little restaurant could seat 45 and the entire operation launched with 20 employees. When it first opened, Chopsticks was only a dine-in concept. But it wasn’t long before the attractive food choice, taste, quality and prices created the demand for a more services including delivery. By 2000, a bigger branch that could seat 120 had opened in Sin El Fil in response to the incredible number of clientele frequenting this casual Chinese restaurant. 2001 sparked the start of a rolling expansion. An outlet opened in Dbayeh followed by another, and another, and yet another. All the outlets opened in areas with high demand and delivery centers popped up alongside places to eat. Today Chopsticks covers the entire coastal area around Beirut, reaching all the way up to Aley and its suburbs. It is even cooking up a storm in the MENA region through its ever-growing number of franchise outlets
