Deepak’s Textiles was founded in 1977 by Mr. Ghansham Sawlani. Having worked in the textile industry for 3 years, the young entrepreneur decided that it was time he takes his passion for fabrics to the next level. He went on opening a textile store in Deira, Dubai. Right from the start, the most important goal for Deepak’s has been its personalized service. Realizing that it is the customers that make a store successful, Deepak’s offered every possible service to please them. These services ranged from free gifts on purchases to complimentary pick-up and drop-off to excellent personalized in-store customer service. At Deepak’s, customers did not come just to buy fabrics, they came to enjoy the shopping experience. After 2 years of tremendous success in Deira, Deepak’s moved its entire operations to Satwa. With a bigger store, Deepak’s expanded its fabric collections and continued to create a name for its quality and service. Even today, Deepak’s operates out of the same store in Satwa, which has now become the heart of the textile industry.Over time, Deepak’s has grown its operations and expanded into the wholesale industry. In 2002, Deepak’s celebrated its 25 years of excellence in the textile industry with the opening of another store in Satwa. With a high achieving and motivated workforce and a huge presence in the textile industry, Deepak’s has grown to be one of the leaders.
