Dr. Firas Hamdan began his medical journey at the American University of Beirut where he received a bachelor's degree in biology; he also earned his medical degree 1991.After Graduation, Dr. Hamdan completed two years of internship and residency in general surgery at Washington Hospital Center. He completed his residency in facial plastic surgery and otolaryngology at the university of Tennessee Health Science Center.Subsequently he completed a fellowship in full body cosmetic plastic surgery at the university of Florida.In 1997, Dr. Hamdan started his private practice serving Florida's capital city, Tallahassee, and the north Florida market before moving to the middle east in November 2006 utilizing his expertise to meet the increasing demand for quality physicians.Firas Hamdan, M.D., of AACSH, DHCC is a cosmetic surgeon that specializes in providing natural-looking results. Dr. Hamdan continues to share his knowledge and expertise through his teaching position as Courtesy Clinical assistant professor at the University of Florida.Affiliations include: American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, American Academy of Facial Plastic Reconstructive Surgery, American College of Surgeons, American Medical Association and American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery.
