With a passion for dentistry, Dr. Michael Formenius started Dr. Michael’s Dental Clinic in Sweden in 1982 spanning five dental centres and a dental laboratory across Stockholm. Focused on his vision of providing outstanding services in dentistry, Dr. Michael expanded to the UAE, where he currently runs two state-of- the-art multispecialty dental clinics. Both are located along Al Wasl Road (Jumeirah and Umm Suqeim), popularly known as the “The Harley Street of Dubai”.
Since its birth in Dubai in 1997, Dr. Michael’s Dental Clinic has built an enviable place in the industry as one of the most trusted dental healthcare providers in the region.
True to its reputation, Dr. Michael’s Dental Clinic has grown thirty times over the last fifteen years with a highly committed team of experts serving more than 33,000 patients to date. We have assembled the finest team of dentist specialists, dental hygienists and support staff representing General dentistry, Cosmetic dentistry (Aesthetic dentistry), Oral Surgery and Implantology, Orthodontics (braces) and Pedodontics (Paediatric dentistry).
Carrying along professional qualifications earned from top universities and years of matchless experience, our team travels all around the world to embrace breakthrough advances in dental sciences, technologies and practices.
Our teams of specialists are members of the Emirates Medical Association and various other prestigious associations such as the American Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Swedish and Danish Dental Association, American and British Association of Orthodontists, American and European Association of Pedodontics and many more.

We find great reward and fulfillment by giving back to the community. We created programs in association with several schools in Dubai, reaching out to more than 20,000 children annually to educate them about the importance of proper oral hygiene. In our desire to promote oral health, we brought our very own Mobile Dental Clinic, custom built to educate and provide basic dental check-ups to a larger number of children.
