The Al Awir course-
It has 18 holes with an exceptional layout of 6,346 yards. This course is a challenge to both professionals and amateurs alike, with the unique experience of carrying your own piece of 'fairway' with you.

The 18 hole Al Awir sand course was held in 1977, used to host the first Men's Open Golf championships and the first Ladies Open was held in 1980.

The Al Awir desert course is extremely challenging for golfers and very long, 6477 yds in total. This course often plays longer than its yardage due to the fact that the ball does not run very far and can usually be found in its own pitchmark! As the wind is a major factor for any desert course and can change at the drop of a hat so no two days are the same and the shifting sands can alter the best laid game plan.

The shorter 9-hole Creek Course-
This course also has an interesting layout ideal for beginners & juniors.

The 'browns' - The browns are the putting surfaces and are regularly brushed to keep the smooth surface that arguably has a truer roll than grass.
