In 1918, Mr. Ali Haji Abdulla Gargash took the first step towards laying the foundations of the Gargash family business. Exactly 80 years later, the company took a further step forward when the Gargash Corporate Management Office was established, to oversee the various business interests. The company’s progress over the decades is a testimony to its founding father’s foresight and solid business sense. Almost 100 years later, his spirit lives on, and many of the sound principles which he put into practice are still in use today.
