About

The family's journey began in 1892 when Idris Efendi migrated from Prizen, Yugoslavia (Kosovo) to İnegöl and continued his family’s tradition of making halva, boza, and şıra. In 1900, he opened the first shop, and his son, Helvacı Ali, carried on the business from the 1930s with dedication, passing it down to his descendants. The third generation, Şadan Bozacılar, born in 1956, upheld the craft with passion, followed by the fourth generation, Cihan Bozacılar, born in 1986, who pursued it full-time after his education. Their traditional milk and semolina halvahs became a Ramadan staple in Bursa İnegöl. To expand their reach, they introduced a unique branch concept and innovated by serving hot semolina halva with ice cream, which gained popularity. This success led to the opening of branches in Bursa and later in cities like Ankara, İzmir, and Istanbul, spreading their century-old flavors across Turkey.

We set out on our journey with the slogan of “Turkey’s Halva Maker” and today, we have opened branches in nearly 150 cities in Turkey and the world, with over 300 branches in Germany, the Netherlands, America, Canada, Dubai, Iraq, Greece, Kuwait, Azerbaijan Baku, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Jordan, Qatar, Oman and many other different countries and cities. We continue to deliver our heritage from our ancestors to larger masses day by day without compromising the taste and quality of the first day.
