About

Each personal session is based upon what every individual in the session needs for their unique circumstances regarding their body posture, mind, energy, and injury and/or limitations. After each class, the response is a delightful centering of your body on its gravity line to further your movement with fluidity and ease. The class is therapeutic and safe for injury recovery and covers a broad spectrum of skill levels from beginner to advanced. Irina combines her enthusiasm and love of yoga with a knowledge of body alignment and mechanics. Her classes are fun and playful with easy-to-follow instructions encouraging students of all levels to work deeply while honoring and working with their limitations. Irina is a Hatha Yoga Practitioner.

ABOUT IRINA
Most of Irina’s life she has been seeking, questioning and always on a quest. Driven to find a new humanity; a new humanity that thinks positively and has respect for each other and the planet. Being a daughter of a Diplomat, she got the opportunity to live in many countries that allowed her to learn, understand and support different cultures. Her family pretty much became a “Hypsy“ family – a combination of Hippy and Gypsy.

Hoping to find the meaning of life, at the age of 22 she spend a lot of time at Siddha Yoga Meditation Center in Catskills Mountain, Upstate New York. She didn’t get the secret potion but realized the heart is the hub of all sacred places and to go there and roam. Also to constantly impart the knowledge of the Self.

Irina planted her Yoga and meditation roots in 1992 but got distracted and didn’t practice until a few years ago when she started facing personal health problems. Being a true believer of Complimentary medicine and Natural solutions, she combined it with Yoga Therapy and was on the road to recovery.

Irina began teaching Yoga after 20 years in the business world in order to make a positive change in her life and share that with others. She’s been a sports enthusiast her whole life, but was missing a wholesome or integrated form of movement (and way of life) until she discovered Yoga. Yoga soon became her way of life.
