Ittihad University is the first largest private university located in the emirates of Ras Al Khaimah.Founded in year 1999 according to the Emiri Decree No.9/99 issued by H.H. Sheikh Saqr Bin Muhammad Al Qassimi the Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah Emirate.The University also enjoys the support of H.H Sheikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qassimi the Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah. The University was granted Offical Candidacy to operate as an institution of higher education by Commission for Academic Accreditation, Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research United Arab Emirates.The University is divided into four undergraduate colleges that encompass a broad range of academic fields and campuses boast large numbers of distinguished faculty.
