From modest beginnings in Hong Kong, we started out with ambition, zeal and the determination to go global and become successful. Along the way, we occasionally modified our goals, explored new directions and formed new and lasting alliances. Jacky's' global success would not be complete without Dubai, a market that has contributed significantly to the Group's fortunes and presently occupies pride of place in Jacky's' worldwide network. Since 1970, we have expanded simultaneously on several fronts - mail order, retail outlets, distributorships, warehousing and logistics and the development of 'Venus', an in-house brand of domestic appliances. More importantly, the expansion moved the frontiers of operations into a wider global arena, covering Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda.
