We cook without gas or electricity. You watch as your meat is cooked on an open-fire grill. The idea was influenced by 18th-century cooking methods, before electric ovens and refrigerators, when moms employed the implements that nature gave them.Chef NabeelNabeel has always been fascinated with food and hospitality. He studied from his father, a renowned chef de cuisine with fifty years of experience working in upscale hotels around Syria and the Levant, as a boy growing up in the 1980s. By gaining fresh experiences on the ground, Nabeel hoped to expand his culinary horizons and formalize his love in 2001. In December 2018, he established Flavors Grill in Abu Dhabi. Not in the glitz of the city center, but near the port of Mina Zayed, Abu Dhabi's historic birthplace. Many Emiratis still hold this place in high regard today, since it held a special place in the late Sheikh Zayed's heart.
