The Nawab is a growing chain of restaurants specializing in authentic Indian cuisine. With outlets in various countries like India, Kenya, Uganda, Malaysia, Canada and Dubai, the name ‘NAWAB’ is synonymous with rich Indian décor & a fabulous gastronomic experience. The Nawab chain of restaurants was established by a young entrepreneur, Mr. Riaz Kassam, in 1989, possessed by a burning desire of popularizing the taste of authentic Indian cuisine. ‘Nawab’ a word of Indian origin means ‘royalty’ & hence in sync with the name, the decors of the earlier restaurants were dominated by the use of vintage design elements like elaborate carvings, motifs & highly decorative arches often recreating an ambience of the palaces courts of the kings & princes of the bygone eras. As the chain expanded to Dubai the décor slowly changed to a more informal setting yet retaining its Indian favour. We are certifying to keep the quality, food safety and hygiene. All our cooks and service crew members are well trained with many years of work experience in their professional field. All staff has done training in Food Safety Management System from M.R.S Food Training service in 2006 and now in 2009 they completed training from Boecker Public Health which is certified by Food Control Section of Dubai Municipality.
