Established in 2004 by Ruksher Malik and Steven Chan, Pastels Salon is Dubai’s premier hair and beauty salon, comprising three branches that are located in the city’s most exclusive areas. The first branch of Pastels Hair and Beauty Salon was located in the prestigious Jumeirah suburb, which is also home to the world’s only 7-star hotel, the Burj Al Arab. Then, to cope with the surge in demand for on-trend hair and beauty treatments among Dubai’s beauty-savvy population, the business partners opened a second salon in 2008 in Dubai’s trendiest area, Dubai Marina. With rave reviews in the UAE media and a growing client base, the business duo opened a third branch of the much-hyped salon in May 2011. Focussing solely on hair care, the latest branch comprises a salon that offers innovative cutting and colouring techniques such as L’Oreal’s INOA treatment, as well as a dedicated retail area that sells a wide range of globally sourced hair care products, including A-list favourite hairdo hair pieces and the much-revered organic brand, Hemp Organics.With a creative team comprising international stylists at its helm, the Pastels brand has become synonymous with the latest must-have hair and beauty treatments and has been featured in magazines such as Grazia and Cosmopolitan.
