They longed for an educational environment as close to the home schooling that they wished to give their own children. They shared a deep belief that all children deserve the very best care and nurturing attention. They therefore undertook years of research and study on how to implement a nursery school in Abu Dhabi that would mimic the attention and care usually associated with home schooling. With over 30 years teaching experience between them, they recognized the benefits of the Montessori Method and selected it as the underlying curriculum to make their vision become reality. The Montessori Method is renowned for its scientifically proven efficacy and for the attention to the individual that it promotes.The first Montessori nursery they founded was in Khalifa City A. It is in a spacious villa with a beautiful garden meadow with a large sanded play area and children's gardening area. Sunny Meadows Montessori Nursery quickly gained a reputation for its international student body, its personalized care for each child and for its peaceful, welcoming environment. Sunny Meadows distinguished itself by offering care for children with special needs supported by shadow teachers for each child. Allowing children with special needs to socialise with regular classrooms has had a double benefit – better development progress in the child with special needs and a greater sense of caring and compassion in the other children. This early success, along with an overwhelming demand, has prompted us to expand to the Al Muroor area in a conveniently located and cosy villa.We are glad to say that Sunny Meadows Montessori Nursery II – Al Muroor Area is now open and accepting registrations!
