The founder of Tinka Group, Mr. Abdullah Shaikh, is better known as the stone-king; however, he has a heart of gold. With UAE Armed Forces (Directorate of Military Works), managed construction of Residential as well as Office buildings, an officer’s Club, a mosque, Ammunition and other Stores for the Signals headquarters in Abu Dhabi.
As Resident Engineer for the 17–storeyed (G+M+15) Residential Building (Al Hamli Tower) under the H.H. Sheikh Khalifa Committee, on Old Airport Road, Abu Dhabi, looked after Civil Structural and finishing works, Electrical installation, Air Conditioning, Plumbing works, and all related services, inclduing the Public Address System, CATV systems, Telecom, Fire-Fighting, etc. Managed approval of all the submittals related to construction programs, sub-contractors, materials, method statements, design of Curtain Walls, and GRC Cladding, etc.
