The idea of Urban Tours was born when two friends were having a chat about the transformation of their 30 years of life together from school days to being successful in their current day careers. Having lived in Dubai for past 20 years, one friend started from hospitality industry, ventured into shipping and manpower supply, finally building his own construction and people management company in Year 2005 with a strong work force of 200+ employees. Other friend built his hospitality base stronger by moving from front desk to food & beverage cost control and then to hard core sales & marketing with renowned hotel and hotel apartments in Dubai. Having accomplished the position of Director-Sales & Marketing and gaining in-depth knowledge of total management of the hotel, the question...What Next? haunted his mind.What was common with them was the passion for the hospitality service sector, which fortunately runs under the skin of their other friends also who are based across the seas. The platform which could accommodate all their interests together was ...the Tourism industry. Shuffling out all the positive vibes such as the passion for hospitality, the 20 years of association within the industry, support from their overseas partners and the optimistic approach for a new challenge led to the birth of Urban Tours as In-bound tour operator in Dubai.Licensed by Dubai's Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) Urban Tours started its operations from 20th October 2012 and is looking forward for great association from one and all.
